Hey, my situation goes like this. we've been broken up for weeks. I forgot a number of texts books at her place. it's important I get them back. When ever I try reaching out to her she ignores me. she's being passive aggressive and immature. I know she she's reading my texts and emails because I tracked them. what should I say? I plan on composing a text to send and I need some input!! Thanks.

Work around her. this is one of the few times I endorse contacting a mutual friend. Ask that person to get your stuff. Drama over.

hell no, i don't have $1000 lying around. they don't even belong to me, i was borrowing it from a friend.

Just go get them yourself or send a family member to do it. If you send a family member to do it, she'll probably be really embarrassed for being so immature. Don't text her. She won't respond to them.

So you 'forgot' $1000 worth of textbooks? If that is true, just get the person who owns them to go and get them. Or get them yourself.

I wouldn't be on here trying to figure it out if it was $1000 dollars value that didn't even belong to you.

Just text her 'I have to get ........ texts books back for them. I am coming to get them'.

You can call a officer for an assist and go get your stuff. Just figure out a time you know she will be home and make the arrangements with the police department. They actually do this a lot. I have had to use it once myself as well.

Use the officer route -- I know how expensive textbooks can be.

Otherwise you could use a pre-paid priority mail box and have it dropped off at her place with your shipping address on it.

I'm not going that far to use the cops, that's too much. she's just being a brat again. It usually takes me 6 texts or emails for her to respond. I just need to use the right words without getting angry.

I think you should use the cops. She isn't being mature and playing games with you.

Knock on her door and ask for them back. If she won't cooperate go to the law and get them. Stop playing around.

she told me last week leave me alone. i'm afraid if i go to her house she'll call the cops herself and say i'm harassing her. she'll get a restraining order or something.

doe's anyone have at least some words i can use?? might aswell give it a try before i take any other actions.

I'm just thinking because if you can't them back, then the owner will no doubt blame you for it.

Tell her to give you your stuff back and you will gladly never be in her life ever again.

alright, i'm not going to lie, i want her back, i begged and pleaded a couple of weeks ago. but then we talked it out and i accepted her choice to break up. i don't know why she's being bitter.

It's obvious that she doesn't want you back and is being an ass by no giving you your books back. Call the cops and have one go with you and get your property. That way she can't call the cops and say your harassing her. Once you get your property, move on and find another girl and leave her and her silly games alone. See? Clear as milk.

And these books are the pawns in your game? This isn't going to work out well.

If dumpers are so over it like they always claim, why can't they grow up and just give stuff back?

i know right? she must have some attachment if she's keeping me begging for them.

Posted

She's not attached to them or you because she is keeping your books. She may be invested in hurting you & causing you financial pain or making you flunk may be her motive.

I'd send a buddy of yours over to get the books. If you have a female friend that would be better. If you don't have female friends ask a good buddy's GF. Then I'd get the cops involved

So you don't have to keep going through this . . . make a list of all your stuff that the EX has so there is only 1 trip.

I don't get why do you keep over-complicating this situation?

It's very simple: Go to her house, keep cool and ask for your txt book back.

It's $1000 worth of txt book, not chump change we're talking here.

act like i didn't do that. i was calm, and all that she still didn't answer.

Go to her f***ing house get the books back. What is your problem?

Posted

His problem is he's not trying to get the books back it's her he wants back. If she broke up with you stop texting her. Just text her the one time and tell her your friend is going to drop by to get the books and let her know what time. Then leave her alone. She isn't being bratty she is moving on.
