napy666 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I have been a Entertainment/Music journalist for a few years now and have made money but its not thousands of dollars. Its chump change here and there over the years. I want to make that 20,000-40,000 a year. Submitting interviews, reviews, photos, etc. To various newspapers and magazines. I have done this before but never heard back or got turned down. I don't think my working field is fast food or retail I keep getting turned down from those aspects or I don't meet their guidelines. I also got a YouTube channel but it doesn't have a lot of hits or subscribers and don't know how to gain more hits. There are people who have Youtube accounts who are making 3,000 a month if not more. I really wanna make a living from home but don't know how.
CarrieT Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Have you googled how to do this? It involves Search Engine Optimization and takes savvy programming.
esteem-jam Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Whats your catch? What is your field? What are you interested in, what can you deliver? A good analysis of a gaming channel snowball: I dont like that particular youtuber, there are others. Just an example. If you are a girl ... there are lots of make-up youtubers. But that niche is hard to get into, if you are not conventionally pretty, and hopping-in so that it does not look forced/desprate.
Author napy666 Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 Eh just forget it. I have given up on my future. I have no future.
