jimtash Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 ..........because she is moving to Mississippi to be with another man. I asked her that since she is going to be with him, why would she want to contact me. I mean it's bad enough she left me for him so why would I want to hear about it. I did also say that if she does leave him one day, maybe she should try then. She got a little pissed at me and said if that's what you want so be it. I'm feeling about 50/50 for doing this. Half of me says it's good and the other half says I'll regret it but make no mistake, it was very hard to tell her. I do love her so much but if she is happy with him then she doesn't need me in her life.
hART Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 While it is apparent you still want to keep contact with this girl, not contacting her is best. You deserve someone who won't cheat on you. You deserve someone who puts you before another man. Stop contacting her. If she tries to contact you, ignore it. It hurts, but it is better this way.
Author jimtash Posted December 16, 2004 Author Posted December 16, 2004 I've known her for close to five years now and we became real close and eventually moved in together. She broke up with me before and this past May, she decided to contact me again after about five months and two months later we got back together. Anyway her and this guy who's in Mississippi were together before and he had to leave town and that's when she sought me out. We were in a great relationship and she says that she couldn't be with me because she was always thinking about him and that's why she basically broke it off. Now she's moving 600 miles away from me to be with him but she thinks that we should still be friends and I asked her why does she still need me in her life? She says that she just wants to know how I'm doing, well I'm thinking what does it matter to you? You threw me away like I meant nothing and now does she honestly think that I want to hear about their relationship after what she did to us? Let her miss me for a while and then I want her to compare me to him and then she needs to figure herself out and what she really wants. If that includes me then I hope she contacts me. If not, then she needs to let me be. But one way or the other I'm done hurting. Enough is enough.

I don't blame you one iota for telling her all of that.
