lastking Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 i have been seeing this girl for 2 months now. She broke up with her boyfriend at the beginning of the year. We have known each other for 4 years or so as friends at my pevious job. What confuses me is she has days where she will flirt and text/talk about positive stuff and then will go in silent mode the next day or so . We talked recently and she talked about us getting serious as in becoming boyfriend/Girlfriend and we were both happy that night. She texted me after the conversation and said that she was very happy we talked and was looking towards the future..blah blah blah This was last Thursday night. On Friday she was very flirty...texting me back and fourth at work. Then she flakes/cancels the date/appointment that we had this sunday and was very brief when she replied. At first she said she was helping her sister with homework and would be done soon. I replied saying it was okay. Then hours later she sends another brief text saying "Day from hell, sorry" then a few hours later "Dont think I will make it tonight". I texted her on monday and she was reluctant to reply. We talked last night and now she is reluctant of getting in a relationship saying she is used to being independent, hanging out with friends and the relationship will take away some of this ..... This is a complete opposite from last week. I am confused!! I want to NEXT her but I really like her and want things to work out. Please advise...Thanks!!

Just go about your life and don't expect anything serious from her. If you want to see someone else, then start doing so. If she's not ready now, she's certainly not worth waiting for if she's so wishy washy.
