kit4kat Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 There are some good names on here... and some odd ones at that. Whatever you do, don't name your child after a month of the year. One of my good friends has it in her head to name her child July. Girls: Kaitlyn, Emily, Emma, Elissa, Tanya Boys: Jake, Luke, Tyler, Shane, Ryan
chica Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 girls: Anastasia, Bella, Zoe, Amelie boys: Rafael, Endre, Zac, Jackson No middle names for our kids, because we're going to join and hyphenate our surnames, so it gets kinda long. other names in the families: Girls: Jocelyn, Anna, Jeannie, Leah, Lily Boys: Simon, Gideon, Camilo, Zachary, Horacio
crisp Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I like Catherine, Sarah, Clare, Rossanne, Julia; Luke, Mattias, Anthony, Theodor. Try to have at least two or three in mind before making a definite pick. My suggestion is to actually see him/her before naming her, if possible (I have no idea if from an administrative pov you can). You'll just know if the name that fits by looking at his face.

herbalyyys Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 I think each name is special to the child...with my three, Only the girl is named what I planned on. Ivy Rose-the boys are Jake Anthony and Brandon Lane.because of my Hubby. Not what I wanted for their names, but they do fit the kids. I wanted Mickey Don(Hubs middle name-hes Italian & Vietnamese), and August Lex. but I put my foot down with IVY!!!! My next girl will be either Lilly Fey or Luna Fey.Whether he likes it or not! If I have a boy, I like Dax. I just go by a name that NO ONE ELSE in both our families has. NO REPEATS at all!

GreyArea Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 I named my son Gage and gave him my family name of Warfield for the middle. It makes me feel proud through life to know that I carried on a family name, hopefully it will have the same effect on him Sometimes I think about his name and am like "Yeahhh, great name!" other times I wonder how much crap he'll get in school, heh.
