Author Stone Posted December 15, 2004 Author Posted December 15, 2004 I love Sophia to but my b/f hates it I also like Celeste but he won't let us name the baby that either because it used to be my stripper name
Naive Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Girl: Melissa, Destiny, Amber, Hailey, Melody........ Boy: Yahriel, Alexander If you want me to I can keep going with the girl names. When I have a baby I want to have a girl, but my aunts say I am going to have a boy because my mom wanted a boy so bad and she did not have one. The bad thing is that I don't know many names for boys that I like.
Author Stone Posted December 15, 2004 Author Posted December 15, 2004 I need as many names as possible, I hate reading those baby books anyway my b/f is really picky I like Melody to but he isn't a fan of that either he sucks.... My son's name is Noah so I guess it has to go with Noah
Naive Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Maybe you should make a deal w/ your bf. If it's a girl you name her, if it's a boy he names him, or vice versa.
Author Stone Posted December 15, 2004 Author Posted December 15, 2004 Heck No he likes old weird name the only name we can agree on for a boy is Ace but I think we can find better.
tattoomytoe Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 eugene, ian, aiden, evelyn, oscar, ophelia, rosemary, constance are there any family names you like?

HokeyReligions Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Gosh, I thought if it's a boy you would call him Stone, and a girl Heather!!! My fav's. (first & middle) & they are (or have been) in the family Sylvia Felicity Olivia Ann Alexis Laura Gidget Leigh Zebediah James Alexander Wayne James John Maxwell Houdini
Author Stone Posted December 15, 2004 Author Posted December 15, 2004 My father wants me to name it Stone if it's a boy, he did with my last one to.. but everyone will just call him stoner but on the other hand Stone Phillips shares the same name
quankanne Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 if we're ever blessed with rugrats of our own, we've already agreed to use family names: Victoria, Robert, Julian, Juliana. The trick is finding something uniquely that baby's to go with those names! I love Robert Marley, but husband's not too crazy about naming a boy after the reggae king! I also like Jude (like the saint), but again, DH has other ideas: he wants to name a son after BOTH our dads and call the kid Mo-Bob. Can you tell he's a redneck? stone, instead of burdening yourself with a baby names book, think back to some of the characters from books or movies who really stand out in your mind -- or even the actors who portrayed them. That might be good fodder!
savethedrama4allama Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Kids will screw around any name, and if they can't then 5 other kids in his class will have the same name, or they'll make fun of his glasses or his weight or his teeth...I think Stone is cool.
HokeyReligions Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 *snicker* Mo-Bob! Back east my dad was James Robert. When I moved to Texas and someone asked me his name they pointed out that he was Jim-Bob!!! I maintain that the best way to name a child is to stand at your front or back door, and shout the name as loud as you can down the street: "JIM-BOB JUMPBACK GET IN THIS HOUSE RIGHT NOW!" Try out several names and see how they sound with the last name.

IhavenoFREAKINclue Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 My favorite boy name are Conner and Dustin. For a girl Mackenzie and Zoe pronounced Zoey) I think you put the E with 2 dots above it.
Scott S Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 I would name a boy Joel, & name a girl Kestrel. Fortunate that my parents named me "Scott," since that is how eveyone addresses me!
IhavenoFREAKINclue Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Originally posted by Scott S Kestrel. We dont want the kid to get beat up now!
