He breaks up with me on Monday Oct 28 and today a week later he wants to go on breaks and lunch with me at work but acts purely platonic. Is he doing this out of guilt or just to see if he can have me if he wanted me back?

It sounds like you're his backup plan. He's just stringing you along, don't let him! :(
