Dating a deaf woman…?

Wondering what your opinions are on dating deaf women in general…

 

Has anyone experienced dating a deaf woman? Any struggles or any interesting perspectives to share?

As long as you can adapt to the communication aspect there wouldn't be a whole lot different from dating a woman who wasn't deaf.

 

If you like her enough, you'll make it work. If you're not that into her, it wouldn't matter if she was deaf or not.

I think they key is to find a quality woman. If she constantly uses her "deafness" as a reason to not try things or is bitter about it then it may be hard to have a good relationship. One of my friends dated a deaf girl for a while and she was a complete bitc.... to him. He was super nice to him but she was just mean.. It can happen with anyone that you get a bad apple. Just make sure you are dating her because if who she is as a person.

I met some deaf people and they were the friendliest people I've met. I ask because my friend met a deaf girl and threw the word marriage out there so I was wondering if deaf women are marriage material as well

If you like her, why not try it? It could be an amazing experience and you could learn an awful lot.
