More Jeep nonsense

Back when I bought the jeep, ( With MY Money)

I had the title put in my ex's name.

Complicated reasons why...

Anyway, we broke up.

She made a big stink about wanting the jeep.

I let her have it.

Tow truck just dropped it back here.

I have a message from her.

HER: I have title with me, friend is bringing jeep back to you. I can't do anything with it anyway. I will drop the title off, so leave the jeep unlocked.

Sorry to inconvenience you... I will sign it over to you.

(I have not responded to her yet)

WHAT DOES SHE WANT?!?!?!?!?!

Inconvenience ME?

I despise you for everything I'm going through.

I get anxiety attacks, the shakes, loss of appetite, Sleep loss, extreme mood swings, ETC.

On top of it all, she sent the message to my PS3.

Has she realized she was wrong?

Is she doing this for attention?

FRUSTRATING!!!!!

I am on the same page as you - This is indeed very confusion. However, I don't think you need to answer at all. She didn't ask you a question. She doesn't need your help in any of it, as far as I understand. So dont answer.

Maybe she really is doing it to get a reaction from you. or maybe she's just regretting how she acted with the whole jeep-situation and tries to make up for it.

All it means is that you now get the Jeep... that's it.

I think I read your earlier post about your jeep and it's my understanding it needs a lot of work. I might be wrong, no? Sounds like she doesn't want to spend any money on it and wants you to have it.

I don't think she's doing it for attention or to hurt you.

You're reading too much into everything. She realizes its too much work to keep the jeep, is returning it so leave it at that. There is no need to respond.

From what ive read also from previous maybe she wasnt completely serious about wanting the jeep and used it as control drama to respond or react in some sort of way. When she realised that you werent playing with her or giving her the reaction she really wanted because you would happily like to see the back of her the jeep became not only something she couldnt realistically handle or maintain but now a way to assert another form of control messing with your head about her intenions. Shes a real game player. Dont entertain her just like you didnt before. Show her the straight face.

I have NOT replied to her. I'm not going to.

She thinks whatever she thinks. I don't care.

I don't want the jeep now.

Nothing will change my decision on that.

My Mom said she will let her sign it over to her.

I don't even want my Mom doing that.

I want the damn thing gone.

I want no more contact with her.

EVER.

I am on the verge of getting a restraining order.

Psycho.

I don't get it..

She had HER property towed from here.

Then had it returned to this PRIVATE property?

Is that even legal?

This whole "giving it back" thing is only making me more angry than I was when she took it away.

I just want to be left alone.

A jeep is quite an expense the only things i never got back was my watch and my Kansai Yamamoto black t shirts. (I was gutted)

I think the main problem here is she has stirred everything up for you again. All the feelings have bubbled to the surface.

Sell the jeep mate. Too many memories. If its in a bad state, scrap it. Everyday is a battle mate. Keep going.

IT IS HER JEEP.

SHE CAN SELL OR SCRAP IT.

I WANT ZERO PART IN IT.

I WANT HER TO STAY THE F**K AWAY!

I already told her ALL of this..

This might get ugly.

I understand how emotional this is for you, but aren't you just making it worse for yourself by reacting this strongly? Why don't you just let her bring the jeep back, sell it as fast as possible (dont mind the prize, if you just want to get rid of it) and forget about it? Why get so angry and act like this, which is only making things worse for yourself?

Thank god you both weren't married and fighting over a marital home, custody of the kids, bank and retirement accounts, cars, furnishings, etc.

You want to fight over a broken down jeep that she's using to manipulate you?

You cannot control what she does. You can however control what you do to make the situation workable for YOU. That would mean YOU sell, give away, scarp the car. Block her from all ways to communicate with you and YOU stay away from her.

If you want to her to stay away from you, you can make that happen. You don't make it happen by reacting so strongly and doing something that is only going to make things worse and prolong the drama. There is no need to cause drama when there is a chance for you to avoid it.

First off, I am not fighting. She used it to try to hurt my feelings. Which backfired when I told her to take it. So she did. Now she thinks she can do something nice for me? No thank you. I don't want anything from her. All I need is NOTHING. There is no point in any of this. I can control what I do! I am controlling myself. I have restrained so many urges. I have been NC since she took the stupid jeep. I couldn't care less about the damn thing! All I want is her OUT of my life for good.

I won't give in to her games and accept it back.

Also..

I'm not a drama seeker. She is.

She keeps butting into my life and it has to STOP!

This is all nonsense.

I know how to deal with this.

The ugly part will be her next reaction to my decision.

I don't believe in her mind she's doing something "nice" for you. She's giving you back the jeep because she didn't get to provoke you. There was no good intent when she decided to return it.

If you want her out of your life, get rid of the jeep, block her and move on. The jeep is sitting back in your home. What would you do now, go back and forth with her? Start the ball rolling on something that's going to hurt you and no one else? I don't want the jeep, you take the jeep, no you take the jeep...what sort of resolve will you get from that?

I didn't say you are a drama seeker. But engaging with her will start drama. And if you want that, go ahead and wrestle with her. But if you DON'T want drama in your life, ignore and block her, get rid of the jeep and move on.

You said the "ugly" part is her reaction to your decision? Well, that ugly part is going to keep you on this board griping about her just as you are doing now because her actions are affecting you.

Be smart. Don't stoop to her level. Trying to jab at her is only going to hurt you because you're the one that is still emotional.

Yes, sell the Jeep. I've got no idea of the value of it, but if the Jeep is a trigger off memories you've shared with her, take it back, and sell it.

Wouldn't you be better off having the Jeep and selling it rather than her keeping it and probably selling it?

I'd take it and sell it, but don't give in to her mind games, keep a straight face and your emotions (if you still feel something for her) in check.
