I'm not saying this guy therefore must have relationship problems but on the other hand you cannot directly write it off either. Especially if you are just acquaintances than there is a good chance you don't have full insight what hides beneath the surface - and people usually display the good and keep the bad hidden.

I think I know what you mean. But for someone who goes on romantic holidays with his SO (or so I heard), I don't know what bad he has to hide.
man_in_the_box Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) Perhaps he has unresolved issues he does not know how to bring up, perhaps their relationship has lately become boring or stale, perhaps they don't connect very well anymore, perhaps he has something to hide (infidelity, addiction).
