generic person Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I thought I would share my experience of an Ebook I downloaded, It is called text your ex back by Michael Fiore, If you haven't heard of it, basically it is a strategy that this bloke came up with to Text your ex back into your life. Essentially it has like 10 steps starting with NC, then how to initiate contact with your ex through text messages and so on and so forth. It gives you somewhat of a guide, goals and structure to follow and you add in your own personal life/ experiences into the texts. When my ex and I first broke up I used this book and it worked perfectly we got back together for 12 months and now we are split again. So be warned it might get your ex back, it might not but there is a good chance if you do get her back you will end up back at square one again 12 months later like myself, unless you both are truly committed to fixing the relationship and you stick to the changes you have made in your life. In my personal experience My ex was much less committed then i was so it fell through. If anybody wants a copy of the book throw down your email and i'll try send it off or i'll try find the link i downloaded it off. I'm a bit sceptical of posting it in a public forum when you are ment to pay for it. 1

They don't care who gets hurt, or gets hurt again and has to go through everything that they started to go through, once, again. Don't post it in the forum, that would probably get the copyright legal people on your rear end. But you could arrange email through PM if you wanted to. I am normally not a fan of copyright violation in any form, but these people are awful. And to my shame, I must admit that I paid for a copy of one of those, "get your ex back" books, but this was back in August. 7

I agree, they are crooks and pray on people in a desperate situation, I'm not sure how much this ebook sells for but for those people out their with hope, its actually not a bad read. but like i said, i ended up in exactly the same position i was in 12 months earlier so my advice would be to think carefully before you try it because in my case it actually worked in getting her back but keeping her was the problem. If enough people are interested i'll try find the download link otherwise pm and ill try email a copy out

KatZee Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 All those ebooks do is regurgitate and spit out the same information that you can find on any free relationship website. Truth be told, these books are NOT magic tricks to bring people back to you, and what they fail to warn people, in what should be bolded, italicized, underlined and 25 point font red text, is: People only come back if they want to!!! No carefully crafted message, way of speaking, passed memories, or any kind of "across the bow" text is going to bring someone back if they have no desire or interest in doing so. A dumpee can act horrible, make every mistake in the book, come off needy, desperate, pathetic, and STILL have their ex come back... because their ex realized their mistake and wanted to come back! On the other side of it, a dumpee can follow these tips and this strategy to a T only to hear radio silence from their dumper. 6
mtnbiker3000 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Sucker.... No reason for name calling. The OP is just hurt and confused and thought this may be of some relief. Can't say I wouldn't have tried anything to feel better when times were really tough. 5
Sugarkane Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I agree. These things make me laugh! I did the opposite of whatmost people do on here and never begged, pleaded or initiate contact ever. I never have been contacted by the ex that brought me here and why don't exes regret dumping me cruelly?! I actually wonder whats the point in taking the high road? All those ebooks do is regurgitate and spit out the same information that you can find on any free relationship website. mtnbiker3000 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Ugh, fine. I'll be more specific. OP, and everyone else going through a break up, it's important to only take steps in your own healing, not following any step-by-step programs to "get an ex back". Your ex is a free-thinking autonomous individual. If they came back, they did of their own free will. Not because you manipulated them back. Because really, do you want someone you have to manipulate back? Does that seem like a healthy relationship foundation? It breaks my heart when people buy these things or recommend them to others. They are nothing but snake-oil salesman preying on the grief-stricken. They are no better than "psychics" who claim they can speak to the dead, preying on people grieving the dearth of a loved-one. The only steps the broken-hearted should be taking, is the baby steps to regain their own life. Getting out of bed. Re-engaging with the world. Looking after themselves by not exposing themselves to their ex, because it will not make anything better. Not using some "self-help" manual trying to manipulate a person's emotions. It does not provide "relief". It prolongs healing. Yeah, I'm the bad guy. Whatever. You're not the 'bad guy' and the above explanation is far more descriptive and effective then simply making someone feel like a douche for their actions. Kind of kicking someone when they are down, no?
ConfusedHumanBeing Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Bout that time for someone to mention his name. Haven't seen him in a while on here lolm
AlmostFrench Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I would actually be interested to read it lol. But I can't send private messages yet. I am curious to know what is in the book, not necessarily to try it out.
barky2 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 All that crap is just bogus reading material to fill your head with false hope. Text a ex back? Seriously? How about no. How about it won't work. I'll give anyone 1,000$ if they use ANY bogus scam like that and get their ex back. Sorry op, we've all been desperate, but what you need to do is come to terms with it, go thru the motions of healing, and move on. Barky 2
Janni Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 When talking about these "magic books" I'd like to mention "Relationship Goddess." I bought it in my attempt to get my ex back and it's horrible. It's about meditating, being relaxed and so on. Nothing I was able to do in the middle of a frantic break up where I cried my eyes out and tried everything to get my ex back. Luckily they did keep their part of the deal and gave me back my money.
flight E Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I have read the book and quite a number of the including magic of making up exback system etc and I can tell you all this is what they are about; 1. U make contact casually. 2. U don't act needy or desperate and you are patient 3. U instill a little jealousy 4. U take it slow and know that you are starting a new relationship 5. Sorry first of all you agree to the breakup and getover the ex All these things you learn for free on L'S. And the emphasis on nc till you actually getover you ex is not emphasised in the books. The emphasis is more on the schemes and plays that you can only truly follow if you are over your ex. That aside the books can actually teach you little emotional manipulations on your ex but it only last so long. In summary, there is really nothing to be gained by reading these books The most important thing in a BU is to getover the ex. Whether you intend to get back or not. Nc is the bestway to achieve that. So stick with the advise on L'S. They serve us all much more than these books
smuggy95 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Let me put it in this perspective- think of someone YOU had dumped. Remember back on that time, as you dumped them, how you felt, the weeks afterward. Now imagine THEM using these book tricks on you. Would it have worked? Would you have been weirded out if you saw they had this book on their to-read list? Take it from the other side's viewpoint.
Scoot Scoot Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 do these programs ever work? is there any success stories?
