joebroz Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 We fought and in the middle of the argument I told her she is boring because I was extremely upset. I really regret what I did and I've made it perfectly clear to her that I'm truly sorry. She told me she understands that I'm sorry and that I freaked out a bit, but she also let me know that she will never forget this. What she also shared with me is that she won't leave me because she loves me too much. So, how do I make it up to her? How do I make her "forget" or at least not ever think about this? It was a real dbag move by me, and the worst part is that I didn't mean it. We've been dating for 8 months. Have any of you been in a similar situation, where you forgive your partner but simply don't forget (and possibly hold grudges)? Thanks.
soccerrprp Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 There is always a reason, conscious or subconscious, for saying what we say. She won't forget, but you can apologize and never ever make personal attacks when arguing. Good luck.
