He spent the weekend......(no, we didn't sleep together).....and it was so great I didn't want him to leave (but he had to be at work on Tuesday)....so I decided to drive back home with him.......he was ecstatic. I ended up staying for 2 weeks....met his children, his parents, his friends.....we were both on cloud 9. About 3 months later I sold my home and relocated to where he lived (shortly before this, he proposed and I'd accepted). It was very "whirlwind" - I got caught up in the newness and excitement of it all, him treating me so well in comparison to how awful my ex husband had treated me..........such that I overlooked a lot of the "red flags" and I ended up having to end things with him several months later............and I learned a great lesson from it all, but it was like a 2 week "first date" and it was awesome. Dang! A 2 Week first date! LOL that's got to be a record?! Thats awesome;) So.. what happend with him? Do you still talk to him or no? I do know what you're saying with being treated sooooo well.. after being crapped on.. it's not hard to get excited about things.. I'm going slow here.. and taking it all in.. I don't want another idiot in my life again either...
