So my ex and I who dated for 7 months broke up 2 months ago and after 3 weeks of NC I decided to snapchat her on Monday. Since Monday I have not had to initiate yet. She has snapchatted everyday since Wednesday, and last night we snapped each other about 7 times or so. She is pretty reserved, and doesn't usually initiate contact, even when we were together she didn't initiate contact until a few months in. Maybe Im just being too optomistic, but at least we are talking! Id love to hear your feedback, Thanks

It seems like that, but you should also think the reason you two broke up.

 

Don't get too excited, you don't know what will happen, maybe it's just bread crumbs. Just chill and don't spend all your energy in this, do other, more important things. If she wants to get back, she will tell you or she will let you know, it will be pretty obvious.

She may think that enough time has passed that you two can be friends. If she's a shy as you say, since she already feels comfortable with you, she can initiate. I doubt she wants to get back together.
