Ok, so this is purely for my own interest but, how often do you text the person you are dating/in a relationship with/interested in. I feel like a lot of people either text a lot or barely text at all and there is no gray area. Personally I feel like texting is a big form of communication for me rather than talking on the phone. It's a way to get your point across and also catch up when you are a busy person. But, I want to know what ya'll think. and... GO!

I hardly text at all. I find it boring. I only text for information really. Confirm meet ups things like that.

For me it's a way to precisely NOT get your point across. I've had so many misunderstandings due to a text message that would NOT happen if it were done on the phone.

I'm a grown woman with a dry sense of humour. I'm tired of putting smiley faces at the end of a message so people get my tone. People who know me well get it, but if it's a guy who is wanting to date me, he needs to call me.

Not everyday all day but sometimes would be nice.

I have neither the time nor inclination to text all day. And one or two messages of "how's your day?" or "what are you doing?" every day shows (to me) that this person doesn't really care about getting to know me beyond anything superficial. I don't need a pen pal.

Gotta do the sexy-texy-ing.

If I text her something along the lines:

My dick is hard, trying to do something about it?

Think she would like that? Maybe find it funny? Or, maybe she would fix it?

Only if she knows you romantically already... would she find it funny
