Today would have been our anniversary. But it's not. It's just Halloween now. The Red Sox won the world series last night. His favorite sports team. Seems like 2013 has been a fantastic year for him. For me it's been quite the contrary. I (also a Sox fan) almost wanted them to lose last night so he could feel some sort of misery. F*cking ridiculous, right?

On Sunday, Lou Reed passed away. Velvet Underground was "our thing". Hearing songs that I haven't listened to in months made all these memories come rushing back. Songs that I love but am in no means ready to hear again anytime soon.

Everything happens for a reason.

My thoughts are with you.

Wait, your ex didn't die did he?

I don't get this post.... stay strong though. The music is the worst, but trust me it won't be ruined forever.

No my ex did not die. (hah) Lou Reed died on Sunday, who is a musician, the lead singer of the band Velvet Underground, which was "our thing".

Today would have been my ex and I's anniversary, so between that and Lou Reed's death the other day I have been thinking a lot about him. My thoughts are exactly as confusing as my post. I'm not surprised you didn't understand where I'm coming from.

Nah, I don't think that is ridiculous. Many posters, myself included, have taken enjoyment from harmless-harms that have befallen our exes.
