What exactly makes someone

Who adamantly declare they will never love you or be with you again and want you out of their life to suddenly come back and say they want you again? Seems very big change to me. From wanting you out of their life,thinking you are nothing to them to wanting you back badly. I am a guy and i have only experienced it happen twice before.

Saying, feeling and doing are different things.

 

 

Someone might go back to you, but probably doesn't or will never feel the same even if they come back.

 

Also, they can say it in a fit of anger "I will never love you agaaaaainnn!" and not *really* feel it. But they can calmly sit you down, and be adamant about their feelings not returning and mean what they say.

 

Basically that. Feelings change. And nothing makes any sense if we try to make too much of it. Just have to deal with the present and not speculate.

They may be trying to convince themselves that they aren't in love with you.

Kinda harsh, but the mind is a powerful thing.

Perhaps their hearts are stronger and they can't deny how they feel no matter how much they think the opposite.

There could be so many reasons.

 

However, I will vouch for this - as humans, we can convince ourselves of many things. That an irrational decision was the "right thing to do", that a rational decision was a mistake, that the "spark" is the same thing as love, that an emotionally unavailable person will care for us if we try hard enough, that someone who is "valuable" is worthy of our love (i.e., that the more we chase them, the better for us they MUST be).

 

Hormones and the disembodied mind's ability to skew reality are some crazy sh*t.
