memo15mx Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I´ve been dating an amazing girl for more than a month now. We´ve had around 15 dates. We´ve talked about our feelings after the 6th date and she said she´s nervous because she´s never had a boyfriend. I said I don´t mind going slow. But then we started to get closer. She began texting messages such as " I smile because of you ". She seemed eager to make physical contact with me for no apparent reason but to get close. She seemed happy so I decided to ask her to be my gf and prepared a nice romantic dinner. The moment she walks in and sees the table set she started to panic and say that we´re moving to fast, that she doesn´t know how honest my intentions are. She started asking me if I was like this with other girls and I said what? Interested? Romantic? Yes, I am but I want to be like this for the right girl and I really think we have something really good. I asked her if she saw this becoming into something more. she said yes. Then what´s stopping us?? She replied why not keep going at it like it is? Having fun, seeing each other more,etc. I think she´s too scared and that she wants to play it safe. I really care about her but I don´t know how "slow" or "fast" I must take this. It´s really confusing.

She was good until the girlfriend term came up, so just stay the course and don't stress about how fast things are going. Just do what feels right but let her drive the commitment conversation next time. 1
