joel Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 ok previously in this forum and other forums members have told i give out a desperate vibe. when do gals consider a guy that he is desperate from a guy who isn't. how do u act in the non desperate way , but hey how do u get to now the girl , if u can't talk to her and act interested- we as guys have to go after her and speak to her. i mean what is acting desperate and what isn't. also i noticed one time i was talking to this girl -classmate i was sitting on a bench and she came over and sat besode me and we were talking about what courses we had and which teachers we thought was good or bad.... being the hallways there are ppl who walk by and i glanced or u can say check out another girl-i this is just an example. i had another time a girl walked by and i checked her out and the girl i think that likes me caught me checking out that gal and she had like a frown on her face, other times she spoke to herself,what i think is " hmmm always checkin out other gals" is this appopriate or should i contain myself when i am in presents with a women. these girls is not my gfs or even firends or even ever dated em-just a aquaintance/classmate- i talk to and make small talk here and there.
NatoPMT Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 part of engaging someone in a conversation, whether its business, friendship or relationship is making them feel good about themselves if you talk to someone and you scan the room as you are in conversation - or look at a girl, it looks like your attention isnt fully on them. Its inattentive and could be considered bad manners. If the person you are talking to is a potential date, it will harm you chances - guaranteed.

Author joel Posted December 17, 2004 Author Posted December 17, 2004 ok what happens if i'm not talking to the other girl and i happen to be checkin out another girl walk by-is this acceptable even if i am in the present of the girl i think that likes me. first this girl we never dated or gf-so my thinkin is i am free to do what i want. sometimes i do it to make the girl i think that likes me to be jealous-so she can give me some attention-considering i gave her soooo much attention-"saying hello", making converstions,... anways even if we have dated can't we as guys see check out other girls-as long as we aren't on a date -if we are both on a date then yea my eyes and attention is on her.
