BBB08 Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 Alright here's the deal, I've read the idea of the whole contact thing and it has worked. I'd block my ex on messenger and when I unblock there she is being friendlly. So I be friendlly back, nothing personal, nothing bout the past just current events and mostly jokes. Now I know NO CONTACT is great but my ex has my sister on her messenger. So when I block her and dont have any contact for certain number of day's. She'll talk to my sister. We broke up in May cuz of bad timing school and stubborness. But has anyone else gone through this.... it feels like she's sort of checking up on me just by talking with my sister. They do homework together on the computer. It's really confusing. Another question is when you break up with someone why would you want to still talk to the ex's sister or brother. They weren't that close when we were dating, they talked and were nice to each other, but it seems she's become closer with my sister during this break up, then when we were BF and GF... CONFUUUSED??? And now my sister says that she wants to come down and visit "her" It was a long distance relationship!! WTF
SpaceCoyote Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 Hmmm... could be any number of things. It could be that through your breakup, your ex found a friend in your sister. It could be a comfort issue.... she is suffering from a breakup too, and finds comfort in familiar people and your sister is one of them. It could also be that she does want to maintain some kind of connection to you, and through your sister to keep that connection.
