At the end of the day remember you are a human being. Humans make mistakes but they are far more efficient at troubleshooting than computers believe it or not. That being said, consider yourself similar to a plant. A plant needs sunlight and water along with nutrient rich soil to survive. If it does not have one of those things it will wilt and die.

 

Employees need compensation, recognition and growth opportunities to thrive. If one of those things are missing they will not progress in their career or at the company. Realize that when **** hits the fan all that matters is if you make a mistake propose a solution to avoid making it again. Develop a new process that will safeguard against it. Errors are going to be made. Computers make errors. Do we fire them? No.
