BigGirlPantiesOn Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Yep. He's starting to act up. Need to teach him how to treat me NOW. Friday asks if he can call me. I agree. He doesn't. Red flag. I ignore him till next day several texts but NONE about the blow off. I blow him off till I leave a VM expressing myself. ONE TIME ONLY will I say it. He calls next day, leaves an apologetic message and confirms he wants to meet me that day as scheduled. We meet. We discuss it. I tell him consistency and congruency in actions matching words is IMPORTANT to me. Deal breaker important. He says he gets it. But he doesn't. Last night he repeated this fatal act of relationship terrorism. Definitely no bueno as he knew I got sick as work yesterday and was in bed feeling poopie. To be blown off while sick is a big kick in the nuts. Today's texts are "are you ok" "How are you?". silence. He will get a nice slice of shut-the-fudge-up silence. I gave him a 2nd chance. He messed up. Now he can send flowers or beg. Why? Not being a beetch, but being a woman who knows her value and respect. Now teaching HIM my value and to respect me. WE TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO TREAT US!! If I didn't do this than all the pain of my break ups will have been for nothing. That is NOT an option.

aybc123 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 maybe he had valid reasons to not call? or just straight up forgot? you've only been on a couple of dates with the guy he doesn't really owe you anything and i think you're overreacting. honestly if someone i just met acted this way (blanking me because i forgot to call them) i'd think they were pretty immature and would be running for the hills.

Or the woman who keeps putting up with it and is using NC as a way to garner more attention? Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
