Asking A Girl Out

Alright...This girl Christina and I play on two of the same co-ed soccer teams right now. We play every Friday and Sunday. We have been playing together since the summer. I always thought she was cute and very nice but she had a bf in the summer, Now a guy on my team told me three weeks ago they broke up. I want to ask her out but don't want to make it awkward because we still have to play with each other on the teams. What is a way to ask her out without it being a big deal? I know in person is the best way but what about email? text? call? Any suggestions would be good. By the way I play on doing it at our next game Friday night no matter what and was going to ask her to the Sixers Bulls game Saturday night because we live near Philly. Anyway any suggestions on how to approach her or what to say would be nice?

DO - Call or Talk in person

 

DO NOT - "Let me take you on a date" -Sounds like you owe her something, never call it a date

 

DO - "I'm going to a bulls game, I'd like for you to come along"

If she says "Like a date?" then say "yes", because the SHE is setting the terms.

 

If she says she cant make it, and she reschedules, thats good. Just get her number.

If she flat out tells you "No", you can suggest another date, but if she doesnt try to make an effort. DO NOT try to convince her, just, say, "OK, cool your loss" - in a playful manner.

 

Basically when youre on the date, you wanna have fun and know what kinda girl she is.

Find something you want to do, like going to see XYZ sporting event. Then ask if she wants to see it with you.

 

Hey do you like the Bulls? She says:

yes -- You say: I've been wanting to go to one of their games do you want to come?

 

no -- You say: Rose is back from being injured and he's amazing! It's way more fun to watch a game live, would you want to go?

 

If she likes you she'll go.
