Second date, and no action! Is this normal? Does she just want to be friends!!??

Hi!

 

On our first date, we went out for breakfast. On our second date I invited her to my apartment for breakfast, and she agreed enthusiastically. It went ok, she wasn't completely at ease because she kept doing the 'ok now its your turn to talk' thing... anyway, we sat and chatted about our childhoods and I showed her some of my photo albums. Then she had to go because of something to do with work. I gave a kiss on each cheek, and that was it.

 

On the one hand, I appreciate not getting physical right away. It's a change and I think its a valuable thing. On the other hand, now I'm a little worried shes not interested... True, it may be my fault because I didn't initiate. Anyway she suggested we go to see a play together soon, but I'm worried about falling into the friends category.

 

To be honest I am a bit intimidated by her 10/10 appearances and demeanor. She drives a brand new BMW, and I'm a starving (if well dressed) arts school student. I can see how we could fit together, but I'm not 100% sure why she isn't with a professional sports player or high end lawyer. I think she sees me as kind of different from what she's used to, which is ok with me.

 

Anyway I'm driving this into the ground. Basically I just would like to know if a second date without any action means doom, or if its ok and I still might be in the game.

a second date without any "ACTION" does NOT mean doom, this is OK as long as you're getting other positive feedback from her.

 

some girls like to wait until 3 or 4th date even for a kiss.

 

next time take her for dinner instead even if it is somewhere not too expensive. stop the breakfast BS.

 

the only time you should be having breakfast 'dates' with a chick-a-dee is after a night of long hot sex.

Seriously, maybe she is just not the type of girl to do it on the 1st or 2nd date. As long as there is chemistry and she accepts to go out with you everything is cool.

My bf didnt get action for a while!@!!

 

He even said to me that after a while if he doesnt he usually calls it off as not interested but he said there is something about her beyond the physical part that im here for.....and then we had action! dotn worry! have fun if she invited you out or suggested it...it means she interested...take it slow....usually the ones u wait to be intimate with are the ones you develope a bond beyond intancy with and have around for a long time...if not forever....the ones u get physical with right away tend to not last as long beyond the physical aspects of the relationship.

i waited almost 4 months to have sex with my current bf of 2 years!
