I'm currently 280 pounds, and hoping to go down to 180 or at least 190. Lately, however, I've been really depressed. Supposedly, depression in men is mostly irritability and anger, both of which I've been feeling recently inside, but not telling anyone about. I've also been feeling really unmotivated. What I used to enjoy I don't anymore, and it sucks. I really don't know what to do with myself.

Being constantly shamed by society doesn't help. Yes, a little motivation matters a lot, but there is a fine line and most people don't understand the difference.

Having said that :laugh: lack of physical activity can lead to indifference, and anger, and depressed moods. You don't have to train for the UFC right off the bat, but go outside and walk around the block. Go see friends and talk, hopefully you have a friend close enough to talk about these bad emotions too. Good luck!
