jeffrey lambert Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I broke up a month ago with my girlfriend of 5 months, and this past month I have been trying to get her back, to the extent of begging. She was my first love. We broke up because she told me that she didn't see me the same way as before and she had lost her feelings for me. She was the one who was interested in me first, as she said, and throughout the relationship I gave her much of my attention and was there for her always, and likewise. But as the months past we started to drift apart, until the day she said we should stop trying. I was shocked and wanted a second chance to fix stuff but she said once she gave up on a relationship, she would lose all the feelings with it. I stopped trying today, because she said if I truly loved her I should let her go. She told me I deserved better and sthough she was nonchalant about me trying to get her back, she was happy because she knew I loved her. I knew that getting her back was impossible, so I decided to let her go. But there are just times where I'm prone to missing her so much. Why does everybody say that I deserve better when all I wanted was her?
