rj4559 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Has anyone ever had this happen to them?: This girl I was seeing VERY briefly pretty much just lost interest out of nowhere. I was very disappointed and still am. I am infatuated with this girl and think about her constantly and I can't figure out why! Anyway, I am trying to move and never contact her, however, the problem is that we have mutual friends. Whenever I see her again I feel like I just keep getting punched in the gut. She even flirts with me and my emotions start going crazy. Another note: this is a very tight knit friends group so asking my friends to stop inviting her out is out of the question. How do I coexist with this girl if simply seeing her makes me miss her even more? Also, I understand I need to move on, see other women, stay busy, etc--but having her around makes this process very difficult. Does anyone have any advice? And thanks in advance!
Dinozzo925 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I'm in the same boat, my ex fiancee goes to school on a campus that is a block wide. Same friends, same bars, etc. What I've done is basically make sure that if I'm hanging out with an old friend it's on my terms (my house, my invitation, etc), that way she doesn't come around. And stop talking to her.
