So we are exclusive but don't have an official title......yet. I would really like to invite him and his daughter to my brothers for thanksgiving.

It would be an overnight trip, 3 hours away (we've already spent a weekend together)

As of right now, It's been slightly less than 2 months. By thanksgiving it will be almost 3 months.

I'm scared its too soon since we haven't made it "official". Am I overthinking or thinking correctly.

I'm so confused :(

Have you met his daughter yet?

Depends on your family. Do they usually entertain friends on thanks giving? Or is coming to Thanksgiving Dinner a family only thing?

Yes I've met his daughter a few times.

Thanksgiving at my brothers house is a huge neighborhood thing. Friends, family, kids, games....pretty informal and fun.

I think it would be a nice gesture and I really don't think 3 months is too soon especially since you have met his kid.

Thanksgiving or any major holiday is not the time 'introduce' new to family. He may have traditions, and also what about his ex? Or his parents? You can discuss it with him but I would honestly make a planned trip out there to visit your bro with him and his child another time. Maybe the following weekend after Thanksgiving.

Edited to add: when I said ex, I mean what if it's her turn to have their child on this holiday? Or are they on OK terms as co parents that they celebrate the holiday together for the sake of their kid?
