ls32ssibm Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) I am currently working on my thesis for my Master's Degree, and in the meantime contacted an employment agency since I recently moved to a new location and left my former job. I was pretty awestruck with the girl at the agency who is assisting me. We are the same age (25), but I have no idea how to make a move without seeming unprofessional. I know she isn't married but I can't seem to find out if she even has a boyfriend since she the only social media she has in Linkedin. Any ideas? I am in contact with her via e-mail at the moment while she gets me set up at a new employer. Edited October 25, 2013 by ls32ssibm
lollipopspot Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 It would be much better to wait until the professional part of your relationship is done - you have the job that she is trying to set up, etc. Otherwise it could be really awkward for resolving your employment situation. Then you could email her to see if she wants to "go out to coffee" (cliche but that's kind of a standard way that people express interest in getting to know someone on a personal level...).
