Romaks Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 After my break up, (first/most serious relationship/biggest heartbreak) I feel like I'm making real progress in terms of getting over her and what we had, but for some reason I've been feeling very strange lately. I feel like life is passing me by and I can't seem to squeeze out all I want from it. I feel like I should be asking out every girl I see, and I just generally don't know how to be single again...I don't know how to relax and realize that I have my whole life ahead of me. I'm 19 with a bright future ahead of me. any advice?
Drdateright12 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Just relax and if you are able to talk to a lot of girls with eaze you already have the first step of being single down. Just go out have fun do not be too careless continue talking to girls until you run into 3 you really like and see who you get along with the most and after you have figure that out then ask the best girl for you out.
Assasda Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 You should find adventures of your own. I know this sound scary, but try things like: go to a club all by yourself, or take a self improving class all by yourself. If youre old enough in certain countries... go to a bar by yourself. Take the scenic route when driving home. Ask a lot of questions. thats how you let life not pass you by. Some of these things are very scary, and can challenge you, and there are even extreme versions of some of my suggestions. But they'll all make you a better man
Mr Scorpio Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Consider the idea that obtaining a new relationship is not a guaranteed way to prevent life from "passing you by". Now and again when I am grocery shopping on a weekend evening I'll see men with glazed, dead-eyes pushing carts with bratty little children, exhausted wives in tow. They gaze fondly at the groups of single college guys loading up their carts with beer to go spend the night watching football and playing cards. That is where some relationships end up. 1
