rossi128 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I can't remember what I listened to right away, don't think soppy/love songs did me much good. Heavy angrier songs I enjoyed much more to get out frustration like megadeth ones. But I'm listening to the Beatles "I'm looking through you" right now, seems to be quite right how I feel now I think. I'm looking through you, where did you go? I thought I knew you, what did I know? You don't look different, but you have changed I'm looking through you, you're not the same Your lips are moving, I cannot hear Your voice is soothing, but the words aren't clear You don't sound different, I've learned the game I'm looking through you, you're not the same Why, tell me why, did you not treat me right? Love has a nasty habit of disappearing overnight You're thinking of me, the same old way You were above me, but not today The only difference is you're down there I'm looking through you, and you're nowhere

Mario79 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Same music I always listen to. Why listen to sad songs and depress yourself more Cause these songs tell us its ok to feel this way, with no arguments, more like complete understanding.
sad_bubble Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Ray Charles - Hit the road Jack Ray Charles - Mess Around I noticed a good thing about break up, it motivates you to try new things. Not to repeat things, that would remind you about your ex, and in such way make a great discovery. like discover Blues )
Busybee1 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 The The - Soul Mining You're floating down a tunnel In a little wooden box You're cold and your lonely and enveloped in fog You've been prised open and left here to die You should have trusted your instincts 'cause they don't tell lies Something always goes wrong when things are going right You swallowed your pride To quell the pain inside Someone captured your heart Like a thief in the night And squeezed all the juice out until it ran dry You've been read like an open book Page by page You'll never tell anyone your inner thoughts again You were taken in By a heart of fools gold Now you're drifting in circles In the depths of your soul Something always goes wrong when things are going right You swallowed your pride To quell the pain inside Someone captured your heart Like a thief in the night And squeezed all juice out until it ran dry
melell Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I listened to elliot smith a hell of a lot, don't recommend it unless you want to feel worse lol. On the upside I can finally listen to it and feel good.

Fufu Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Fighter - Christina Aguilera It's a constant reminder I'm a strong lady! 1
reddragon588 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 You're just prolonging your misery with this music. That stupid Gotye song came on the radio the other day and I couldn't change the station fast enough. Yeah it may vbe a valid reflection of how I feel, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let some corny pop song remind me of it. 3
crazybestie101 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 My thoughts exactly. I would encourage people to listen to music that lifts their spirits, whilst going for a long run. Save crying for the 10 mins you're in the shower. Much more productive. Yes, i always cry in shower so roommate won't hear me crying. It's hard living with roommates which are couples. Always with each other laughing , cuddling and i am here broken up. I feel like sometime they over do everything , specially ignoring fact that there is someone else going through painful phase of their life. I guess they are still kids, pretty much don't give **** about my pain.
