werecookie Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I'm currently single and I notice sometimes that female friends whom I believe are attracted to me for one reason or another pull this peculiar move. In most of these situations, when we're both seated next to each other, I'm usually quite quiet, and chat with them only ever so sparingly even though I sense that they are somewhat attracted. Then, they might start having a conversation with a guy on their other side, and whatever the content of their conversation, they start laughing and lean back from him toward me. On the pretext of taking a comedic photo of the guy on her left, one particular girl completely leaned in toward my chest, and another did the same thing even though I wasn't even in the conversation to begin with. I find it quite perplexing that they would talk with another guy, laugh with him, and then suddenly lean back from him right into my chest (which is in no way particularly muscular). Girls - is this a move that you sometimes flirt with? Thanks!
headinthecloud Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 No, they're not flirting with you or they would be talking to you and not the other guy.
melell Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 hmmmm it is possible they are enjoying attention they are getting from both of you, but are more interested in the other guy.

Could it be that her head presses against your chest because she's too busy laughing and leaning backward talking to the guy opposite of where you are sitting?
pteromom Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 No... can't say I've ever heard of flirting like that. If I wanted to flirt with you, I'd be talking and laughing with YOU, or even if intimidated or shy, would be facing you and hoping you noticed me.
