Shaun-Dro Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 This just happened last night so I'm certain she has something to do with it even though I can't prove anything as of yet. To make a long story shorter, my psycho ex finally broke the camel's back on our relationship when she relentlessly called and text me about money. She kept begging and begging for this amount and that amount. I declined her each time; then she tried to lower it and offer all kinds of favors to get it and that's when it dawned on me that she's seriously deranged and a possible drug user, given her recent erratic behavior, which I mentioned previously: the constant highs and lows of her actions. So, I did what any sane man would do: I terminated the relationship and of course she insulted me, called me a creep, a pervert, an abuser; said she would tell everyone the world about me, so on and so forth. I hung up the phone on her after all that. She'd then text me incessantly about getting even with me somehow, someway. I ignored that too. Now we skip to later in the night when I was out with a friend, we picked up 2 cute babes outside a local bar in downtown Brooklyn. One of them to me greatly resembled Megan Good the actress so I had to have her. I had my boy drive around with the girl's friend in the front with him while I was in back with "Megan" getting to know her, which was so easy since she seemed a little high, admitted to smoking weed earlier, and was very horny. After my friend parked the car, he left with the other girl for a walk, and I remained in the backseat with "Megan" making out and enjoying ourselves until the police fly up out of nowhere and demand I get out of the car! They questioned me and then arrested me on charges of loitering around the neighborhood and some bull**** about fitting the description of a man wanted for robbery and sexual assault. All a boldface lie! Naturally, my boy and the 2 girls had to find their way home since the 2 cops confiscated my vehicle, asking me all kinds of stupid nonsense, while I sit in handcuffs, embarrassed and angry beyond belief. After taking me down to the stationhouse, I stayed overnight and was just let out earlier this morning after eight, and was told to stay out of trouble. How is that even possible since I've never been arrested before and have done absolutely nothing. The police gets away with arresting me on simply suspicious activity but couldn't prove a ****ing thing, so they couldn't keep me, but managed to make me sit in the jail cell all night?! I'm pissed off right now and I strongly believe my psychotic ex has a lot to do with this because of the timing of the situation, and her knowing what kind of car I drove and the license plate number. I don't know what to do right now. I want to prove she'd done this but don't know where to begin.
proactivedreamer Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Firstly, it seems you let them get away with arresting you. If I read your story correctly, you didn't request a lawyer. Why not? Police officers know that a great majority of people do not know what their rights are, so they can get away with bullying and terrorizing innocent people. When citizens allow for law enforcement to do what they want, and how they want, it slowly diminishes the power that our civil rights have. If you feel this situation with your ex has the potential to bring you into a dark place, I suggest you think about preparing yourself from a legal standpoint. Change you phone number. Do whatever you can, so that she cannot ruin your life or reputation. 1
ConstantVoyager Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I'd look into the legal definition of harassment in your area too. Your girlfriend may well step over that line. Sadly, sounds like she needs some psychiatric help.
Author Shaun-Dro Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 I'd look into the legal definition of harassment in your area too. Your girlfriend may well step over that line. Sadly, sounds like she needs some psychiatric help. You damn straight she needs help but I'm not one to give it to her. I didn't take her seriously when she vowed to get even with me for not giving her what she wanted but this arrest is just ridiculous. I didn't bother with the legal rights situation because I got out of it with nothing on my record since I was clean and everything was returned to me. I just feel my ex went nuts after the breakup and cried her heart out on the phone with the police about me doing terrible things to her, which got the cops to a chance at harassing me. Being black always makes it worse. I'm not going to change my number since I haven't heard from her but I do feel tempted to blast her about setting me up. However, in the same token, I might ignite something bigger and she goes out of her mind and pulls another lethal tactic.
TigerCub Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Your ex sounds crazy - yes. But it just doesn't seem likely that the day of the break up she calls the cops and is like 'oh my ex is shady, I suspect that he robbed banks and sexually assaulted people, here's his license plate # and his description' and that same night as they are trolling the streets they're totally still on the look out for you. It seems like a HUGE coincidence. You were getting busy with a girl in the back of a car on a public street. I'm not saying that you should have been harassed and locked up for the night, but I just see it as a more likely cause for the officer to start sh*t with you than the idea that a story your ex might have given the cops that day was followed up on.
FitChick Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Perhaps if you dated women closer to your own age you wouldn't have this problem.

I do think your ex woman committed you to the authorities instantly after the break up because I almost had this happen to me once upon a time. I think you should've tried to help her before dumping her though but also it seems your not the relationship kind of guy anyway. Agree?
Easyguy14 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Perhaps if you dated women closer to your own age you wouldn't have this problem. This is false because like I said this almost happened to me and we were a few years apart with her being older. Its all about if the woman in question is sane or insane.
rach63 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Even though you spent the night in jail, you're lucky she didn't bruise herself up and cry abuse. Look into your record though, just because they told you it's clean doesn't mean it is. I suggest blocking her from contacting you and possibly getting a restraining order just to document concern for your safety and as a precaution against her saying you were harassing her or whatever.
bob the brave Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I know you are pissed, but are you sure it was her. Sounds very plassible indeed. She might have friends or relatives in the NYPD. I have a friend with a brother in the NYPD and this time of favored harrasment is a common occurance. But, it might be Megan. Maybe ex cop bf of hers saw you two together? Anyway, for get revenge. I will only lead you to more regret. Just take the high road and move one with your life. If she contacts you again, get a restraining order.
theothersully Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 (edited) Are you from NYC?? I have to wonder. Because you don't understand how the NYPD works. They are often instructed to clear areas at certain times of the night and will arrest people they find out and about in those areas. You got caught up in a little street sweeping. They do it all the time. Edit: Just saw you are black too? 100% street sweeping. They are much worse on you guys than us white guys. Edited October 23, 2013 by theothersully
SincereOnlineGuy Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I remained in the backseat with "Megan" making out and enjoying ourselves until the police fly up out of nowhere and demand I get out of the car! They questioned me and then arrested me on charges of loitering around the neighborhood All a boldface lie! a boldfaced lie which you effectively admit yourself, with your own words, copied here. Two people sitting in the back seat of a parked car, late at night, with nobody else around, and no seeming reason to be there, and you weren't loitering... ??? Now, make up some story about how the now-ex girlfriend could have choreographed that... (and we need details that at least 1 out of 30 people might believe on a day when they need entertainment). Let me hypothesize a beginning for you: "Hello, 911, there is a man, who is gonna be sitting in the back seat of a car, over in a bad part of Brooklyn, late at night, this evening... it's going down soon. What? No, he's not wanted for anything... he's just a man, gonna be loitering, possibly with drugs in the vehicle, but maybe not. Yes, that's right, now here is the address in front of which he will be loitering... in a dark vehicle, and in the back seat, with nobody in the front seat. Is something big going down??? I don't know - he was my boyfriend until earlier today..." OK, so there is your start... just fill in the last part, and until you do, promise that you will in no way be fool enough to suggest to any added living souls that your now-ex girlfriend had anything to do with your tale.
veggirl Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 people get ARRESTED for loitering?! I mean its not like they asked you to leave and you refused? that is some bulllllsh*t if true!!! but yeah, also, downside to dating teenagers, I guess. (assuming she had anything to do with it)
