ernieshavers Posted December 10, 2004 Posted December 10, 2004 when i arrive at school theres often these girls at the front of the school and one of them keeps staring at me and smiling a lot when i go past. also her friends seem to be staring a lot so im guessing she has a crush on me? i guess i sound quite stupid and inexperienced here but im wondering if this is a sure sign that this girl has a crush on me? if so what are some good ideas on what to say if i go and talk to her bearing in mind she's a complete stranger?

joseestrumero Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 Don't be too brazen - smiles and cheery looks don't mean a crush necessarily; she obviously thinks you're cute or friendly looking, but I wouldn't go so far as to say she has a crush on you. What I would do is rake up the stomach to go talk with her. It's hard to do it with her entourage of friends around her, so I'd try to catch her alone somewhere where you'd be more comfortable. If you can make a good first impression infront of her friends, though, that's just more points in your favor. Just be friendly, polite and cheerful - like the smiles you give each other every day. Thinking of a good pickup line was often the most challenging thing for me in situations like this back in the day, but now I'll just dive right in and say "Hi, how are you? I figured since we pass by each other every day I might as well introduce myself...blah blah blah..." The most important thing is that you get the courage to talk to her soon - don't pass up a good opportunity to meet someone new and interesting. And let me know how it goes - I'm curious now
