Many many people have.

There's only one secret to do it.

Let go.

Move on.

You can't fake it...it has to be real.

You have to completely focus in on your own happiness and get yourself back to the happy person you were previous the relationship.

I got mine back.

But it wasn't a second before I stopped caring, let go, and truly stopped pining over her.

Let go.

Let go.

Let freaking go.

Read Barky's post, then read it again. You cannot fight for something that someone doesn't want. If they cave in to your "fighting" it will be out of pity. Do you really want someone back under those circumstances?

It's hard. I know it. I'm there too. But I've given in to just letting go. Leaving it to fate. If she comes back, and I still want her, then it will be under the right circumstances and mindset for both of us.

Everyone will get to this point.

Some takes longer for others.

But there will be a point in time where you just say screw it and put your hands up and say screw it.

That's the first day of healing.

Oh Barky...I know you are right, I do. I just want to get there! And like everyone else, letting go of that hope is what's holding me back. Thanks for being such a voice of reason to everyone here!

You will, I promise.

Takes a little time but you will.

And my pleasure, I'm where I'm at because of LS,so I pay it forward :)

I know how it is - she just broke up with me 4 days ago. Its a battle in your mind, eventually you'll stop thinking about your ex 24/7. Just remember who you are, know that you are in control, and stay NC!
