hppr Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Honestly I went from being a skinny nerd to pretty much all of those things and yeah it definitely works at least for me. The difference between how I used to be, ie the skinny quirky guy with an out of style haircut and the me now, tattooed muscular on a motorcycle is like night and day. Definitely helps to have an in-style look.
aussietigerwolf Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 id avoid that type of guy... my boyfriend is 5'7 no tattoos and no bike. 1
theothersully Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) A favorite topic of mine. I just die laughing when i see bikers or gangstas in da hood! ha ha ha! So I can walk into my local Harley store, buy a bike, some great looking Harley costume, stop by the tattoo shop on the way home and now I'm some kind of badass? Tougher than other guys? Yeah, right! Same goes for gangsta looks in da hood. I remember on the 6 train going into the bronx, there was a "gangsta" guy in full costume hitting his girl. Looked like 50 cent. I had to step in. I yelled at the guy, pushed him over some seats and that was that. I have no tattoos, no harley costume, no gangsta costume, etc. I'm only 5'11". To put it another way, strip every guy naked. Now who is toughest? A costume does not make anyone any tougher. PS: I have no tattoos only because I don't want to be/look like everyone else. Pps: Have had my motorcycle license as long as my regular driving license. I just prefer fast bikes that handle well and accelerate over slow bikes that are loud and poor handling. Again, not for show. Edited October 25, 2013 by theothersully
