Tattoosandtrees Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Hey everyone! This is my first post to loveshack! I wasn't really sure which category to post this under-- dating, or break ups. I figure that this is the best category though because I am struggling with learning how to be single. Here's my story: I have been in constant relationships since high school. I've had 5 serious relationships, and multiple other relationships in between and I'm only 20. It's not something that I'm proud of. I recently came out of my most serious relationship so far, and then jumped into another one (we decided we're better as friends though). I guess you could call me a "relationship whore". I am really trying to look forward to spend some time with myself and stay out of relationships for a long time. I'm struggling to learn how to be single.. Any advice?

I posted before how I started dating my (ex) at 15 and we broke up at 25 I was so lost..never really knew what dating or being single or new anything more than picking up bread and milk on my way home from work. But then I dove right into being single. Partying hard,vacations,meeting new people,random hookups ect And by the end I woke up and couldn't believe I did it,I was ok with being single. Find stuff that you want to do. Is there a place you've always wanted to go? Do you like dancing? Go dance. Do you like hiking then go hiking This is your time. Take a day,grab a coffee somewhere downtown and sit there and think what do you want to accomplish because I can tell you one thing, that someone will walk into your life again, either your ex or someone new and you'll wish you did more in the time you had for yourself. One thing I can promise is you'll be just fine. Hold me to that. Welcome to LS by the way! Barky 1
