rhystcbusiness Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Hey I am posting on behalf of my mother, she split up with her husband 5-6 years ago but he won't go through with the divorce because he thinks he already has (he signed a form to admit he committed adultery, not divorce papers) My question is, my mother has been paying the mortgage for 5-6 years, with no money from him at all, but when she sells the house he will get half of the house im guessing and that's really unfair since my mum struggles every single month and never has a penny to spare! I can't believe she has left it this long she is so soft! she is also still paying a shared loan in both there names but one thing at a time! he pays maintenance for the 2 kids living here but that's completely separate im guessing, also he built our kitchen roof and it only went and fell down because he build it wrong, and now refused to help pay towards that. Any help is really appreciated as I can't get an answer anywhere. Thanks!
