Nope. He tried but I was faster.

Perhaps, but there are other loves of your life.

The trick is not to settle for someone you're not totally nuts for, and wait a lot longer than your friends, and allow yourself time to come across the right person.

I went out with a girl in college, her name was Nancy. Nancy seemed to really like me and I really liked her. But then I met a lot of other girls that also seemed to really like me and maybe I didn't treat Nancy as well as I should have. She confronted me about the other girls and I told her it was none of her business and well....that was the end of that. I use to think back to her a lot. What could have been and was not. But .....well.....maybe if it went farther than that, than I wouldn't be thinking back to it at all.

I don't think the love of my life is the "one that got away from me". I think the love of my life will be the love of my life. I still think back to Nancy occasionally, but I am not confused that she is the love of my life.

I know one thing..thinking about it/reading about it will get you nowhere and can only make you anxious.

It's more like 6 out of 7. :p Very few will admit it though.

Seriously, who ends up with the person that stimulates them most in life? Nobody I know. Doesn't mean you can't have a wonderful and stimulating relationship anyway though.

There are forces beyond your control that can separate you, even though you fight until you are a pile of dust
