So next year I plan to move in with one of my best friends (who is a guy and isn't gay). Only problem is that I have a boyfriend and not sure if he will move with us or not since we go to different schools. My boyfriend said he has no issues about this but I can sometimes see that he does. Not only that but we will be 1hr apart from each other since I will move to a different city, and never been in a long distance relationship. I know the driving distance doesn't seem too bad, but I wonder if this could ruin our relationship?:(

Well you have two different issues. One is the hour long distance. The other is that you're living with a straight guy. I've dealt with both.

In the case of distance, it's a hard thing. One hour is doable though. At least you're not across the state or the country. Give it a try and see how it goes.

As for living with another guy, that can be difficult. Even though I rationally knew my GF loved me, I just felt a bit uncomfortable knowing she was living with a straight guy. That said, I GOT OVER IT. I basically just had to tell myself that this was MY issue and not HERS. If I'm going to be in love with someone, that means trusting them.
