flight E Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 The advise on this site can be harsh and annoying but it doesn't make them less valid and true. If you will be one of the few that will take the advise then you would have been truly special. I know your ex type and the only thing that can make you appeal to her is if you go and calmly and resolutely tell her you are through with her and never want to hear from her again. Not with anger just calmly and wish her well and say gudnite. You have been asking 4 advise on how to get her back; there I have given you the best. This will definitely get her back for a while. But u are obviously in no frame of mind to do that. So for God's sake she dumped you let her do the work of getting you back 4
mtnbiker3000 Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 (edited) Probably right, but eventually there has to be someone who listens, right? 16 - 20 = No way 21 - 25 = Slight chance 26 - 30 = Maybe 31 - 35 = Hopefully 36 + = Probably Edited October 19, 2013 by mtnbiker3000

forgetmenot75 Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Omg please listen to all this advice! You'll feel miserable after meeting her, it's blatantly obvious she doesn't care about you nor she loves you!! She's giving you the the chance to meet her because she probably doesn't have another guy right now and she is bored. Plus you insisted so much! Everyone has given great advice here, you are ignoring it. Tomorrow night you'll post here again, broken and miserable. 100% 2

Author Bandito Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 I'm meeting her tonight. Just a quick opinion from you all, would her wanting to talk dismiss the fact that she's seeing anyone right now. I was curious if she was dating, and she is talking to me, an ex.

Author Bandito Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 a little backstory with her, out of all her ex's I'm the only one who she keeps contact with. Everyone else has been cut off and she ignores completely. she told me she's using this time to heal because she's still hurting. I sure hope she's not in another relationship already.

None of that matters. 2
JDPT Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Don't believe you are the exception, she is providing you with standard treatment. In any case, make the best of it tonight, see you soon. 1
Simon Phoenix Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 a little backstory with her, out of all her ex's I'm the only one who she keeps contact with. Completely irrelevant. 2
organizedchaos Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 a little backstory with her, out of all her ex's I'm the only one who she keeps contact with. As far as you know. 3
Author Bandito Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 How do you know? Perused her phone? Stalked her Facebook? This thing is going to be, as my friend would say, "balls deluxe". That's bad. It's so easy to lie about who you're in contact with these days - separate emails addresses, FB', etc... she told me herself.
organizedchaos Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 she told me herself. Then it must be true! 3
oracle Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Nothing will change for you until you learn the hardway. You will be the master of your own undoing. Fasten your seatbelt; you are being naive, and in for an interesting lesson. 1
BigGirlPantiesOn Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Hey people, There is no need to be hateful to the OP because he isn't taking "your" advice, or seeing things "your" way. He is in a lot of pain and confusion...like YOU once were, or still are when dealing with YOUR loss. Let him learn the way we all learn: through repetitive pain. We are here to shame or judge people....right? Be a friend...a compassionate friend.

We are here to shame or judge people....right? Be a friend...a compassionate friend. Sometimes we need tough love, especially when we are trying to negotiate our feelings. We have a tendency to convince ourselves or rationalize behaviours to coincide with what we want, not necessarily what should be. Edited October 21, 2013 by headinthecloud 1
William Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 'Tough love' shall be presented in a civil and respectful manner in compliance with our forum rules of interaction. Thanks! 1
Fufu Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) I'm meeting her tonight. Just a quick opinion from you all, would her wanting to talk dismiss the fact that she's seeing anyone right now. I was curious if she was dating, and she is talking to me, an ex. She could be talking to you and at the back dating other guys (there are so many possibilities) After reading through 8 pages, just puzzled me greatly what you really see in this girl. I guess love is really blind. I would really much prefer you spend quality time on yourself or in someone that deserves your love and attention (sorry to say, once the girl did such a thing to you, just not worth it in my opinion) Anyway, since you are "really" meeting up with her to talk. My personal advice * Don't expect anything out of the meet up * Don't settle for anything first Edited October 21, 2013 by Fufu
