aaron11892 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 It's been about 5 week post BU for me and I'm getting to stage where I am accepting it but I still sometimes have periods where I miss her badly. The last 2 days I have been feeling similar to how I did straight after the break up, I don't know why, I just miss her. Anyway I wanted to know whether she missed me at all. I feel she doesn't at all because she hasn't once tried to make contact. It seems like I am the only one feeling broken and she is carrying on with her life without a problem. Dumpers, do you ever miss your ex or is that really that easy to move on? I wanted to know after a certain period of time, will the dumper realize what they lost and eventually want to weed their way back into your life?

Many who do, only do so out of loneliness or after they get dumped by the next person they're with... then dump you again once they've healed... essentially using you as a rebound. The ones that actually come back and make it work have worked on their issues and have resolved that whichever issues caused them to end the relationship in the first place have been corrected. There is no certain amount of time and you'd be wasting your time hoping for another chance at something that failed, for whichever reasons, in the past. 2
