Every now and then he'll make strange little comments to me though. One night he told me that the only reason I liked him as much as I did was because he had dumped me and rejected me when I wanted to get back together. He seriously believes that's the only reason I liked him. The other day I saw him and was talking about my best guy friend. He must've been listening in on my conversation with a girlfriend and he said "Oh..so is he like trying to hook up with you?" He also saw a group of my girlfriends and my sister out a few weeks ago and told them he would be bringing a date to a New Year's party. Why would he out of the blue tell them that or say things like what he's been saying to me above?

Why would he out of the blue tell them that or say things like what he's been saying to me above? 1) it is most likely true you like him more cause he left you 2) he is trying to make sure you know he has moved on and left you in the dust 3) none of what he has said or done shows that he wants you back.

I've talked to other guys who have told me that his behavior means he's trying to make me jealous. I find it odd that he's become almost like brother/sister with one of my closest girlfriends since we split. I know he still talks about me to his best friend too. My girlfriends that talked to him said that he was blantantly trying to make me jealous by telling them he would be bringing a date to a New Year's party. He knew they would tell me what he said and knew it would make me a bit jealous. When he saw me out with another guy not too long ago he went up to one of my best girlfriends and said "She's not making me jealous." Well if it wasn't making him jealous he never would've said anything to begin with. He's been asking me how many hearts I've been breaking since we broke up and wondering if I'm seeing anyone. He also took me back to his place after I'd been drinking about a month and a half ago and tried(very hard)to hit on some girl right in front of me. I mean he was making it obvious. Why would he do this? When we broke up he told me he was very confused about how he felt about me, wanted to take a break, then a week later said he was sure and wanted to break up. Feelings don't change that fast. I'm sorry but they don't.

This was only my 2nd semi-serious relationship for me, as well for him. He got his hreat broken the first time. I don't feel like he ever trusted me. He would say a lot of things when we were together like "Please don't hurt me." and "Please be careful with me feelings."
