I have no game, I can never keep a girl interested. What can I do?

I'm attractive, but I've never really had any success with girls. I think part of the problem is that I move way too slow. I'm 23 and my longest romantic relationship lasted about 2 weeks. Her reason for dumping me; "I feel like youre not interested"

 

A couple of days ago I decided to play around with online dating. I received two messages from girls that I actually found very attractive. I always find a way to turn these conversations into dull interviews. I still get a lot of smiley faces and everything but when I ask for a date they disappear.

 

Should I try to be more flirty? Maybe even a little sexual? If so what are some lines I could use to keep their attention?

 

Here's how my last attempt went down. Keep in mind that this was after she gave me her number and she imitated the initial contact on OK Cupid.

 

I ask about her new job;

 

HER: "I'm an application engineer mostly designing agitators. So far I like it alot!"

HER: "you're job hunting?"

 

ME: "haha I'm dumb, what is an agitator?...I'm a GIS graduate. I really want to work with satellite imagery and remote sensing."

 

HER "It's a mixer...shaft, impellers, moter etc :)"

 

ME: "I'm still a tid bit lost haha...are you free for coffee on saturday afternoon?"

 

24 hours...crickets.....

 

I probably shouldn't of used the phrase 'tid bit,' but still..I don't really see any major screw ups.

First thing, Dont interview girls. DO NOT.

 

Talk about things light and fun, and if you can do it, LET HER DO ALL THE TALKING. You dont move slow.

 

Just be open to what they have to have to say to you.

 

BIG POINT: If you have something that you a passionate about, I dont care, if youre passionate about fudge stick houses, TALK about it, again after she is done talking. Just play it smooth and treat her like a regular human being and NOT SOMEONE INTERVIEWING FOR A JOB < the kiss of death.

Saw nothing wrong about your Texting style. you both were bad at spelling :laugh:

Your subject matter, is what I'd have a problem with, most chicks...heck most people dont want to talk about their jobs, its such a boring thing to talk about what you do everyday, unless it is your UTMOST passion in life.

 

Talk about the latest gossip, or ask her who's her favorite pop star, stuff like that

I feel like she was waiting for me to break and do something dumb like send the text "hey did you get my message last night" I played it cool & it payed off. :)

 

I just had a conversation with a new girl; she didn't give out her number but I was able to stay out of interview mode for the most part.

 

My post is still relevant though. I do feel like I come across as boring most of the time.

Lol if you are attractive you don't need game brah. Seriously i don't even really talk to girls. I'm just not a talkative person. I'm quiet. But they still love me. The more you ignore them the more they want more.

I see "dumb" as a more playful term. Stupid, idiot & moron are the words to stay away from. But I do agree that I did have some screw ups. Glad I'm getting a 2nd chance. She's been checking my profile every night so that can't be a bad thing.

Awesome! Just don't sell yourself short, I'm sure you have plenty of interesting things to discuss and share with someone, good luck & that's a good sign that she is interested, maybe a bit obsessive every night, but good sign nonetheless :)

Went on a coffee date a few hours ago. Didn't go too well. we were both really awkward. But I thought she was pretty so I'm going to text her tomorrow and see If she's interested in doing something else but I wouldn't be surprised if she said no.
