Should i msg him? This seems like SUCH an excuse to break NC. What good is it going to do to contact him and ask about an earthquake??? That sounds asinine. Don't contact him at all. 1

I think it is OK if you do not have expectations of a reply. If you just want to let him know you are hoping the best for him and not using the message as a rationalization for checking up on him then it is simply a nice gesture..... But, be totally HONEST WITH YOURSELF about why you are doing so.....
Author emi Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 Thanks for your reply. I dont find any excuse to contact. I feel doubt about it also. But i just want him to be ok.

HorseLuck Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 If you're truly concerned about his welfare and don't think it will set you back, I say go for it. But, I think it also depends on the circumstances of the break-up. I did this with an ex, read about a crisis in the news, panicked and reached out. Had to let him know I was thinking about him and told him to be safe. I don't regret the decision but I definitely got hurt in the process, which is something that set me back by weeks. I could've done without the contact so to speak.
Stealth3 Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Not worth it, you might find out he moved before the earthquake struck.
petall Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 You don't have to contact him directly you know. Check with his friends or any family members if you know any.
Ireallydontknow Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Who cares if he is OK? I'd be fine if my ex died in an earthquake lolz. Seriously though, don't do it.
Simon Phoenix Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 No, if he wasn't OK you'd hear about it through the grapevine. Leave it alone.
