Beachlife88 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Ok known this guy a year. We were casually seeing each other for awhile. Talked almost every day he'd tect me he misses me telling me I'm beautiful and smart. Had sex twice and hung out plenty of times with no sex. Last month he's been distant. Don't think it's due to sex bc we slept together awhile ago. Told me before I made him happier than he's been in a long time. We've barely talked past month. Only thing I can think is. I never initiate hang outs and I don't say a lot of sweet things to him like he does to me. (I get scared to be open even though I really like him). I've tried the past month moving on from this guy but I can't. I wanna text him that I miss him, but I'm so scared of looking clingy, dumb or annoying. (He's 26 I'm 27) ugh what should I do
Keenly Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 I can't tell you what you should do because I don't know. I do know that I miss you texts always make me smile. 1
mammasita Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 I don't see it as being clingy if you tell him you miss him after not speaking much for the past month.
Assasda Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 For some reason, I think she's hiding something, and I think she is the one that broke up with him
Eivuwan Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 You sound like you don't show him nearly as much affection as he shows you and yet you're afraid of looking clingy... Why are you so afraid of showing your interest?
mbee Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 You need to be more affectionate and expressive of your feelings. After a year, the relationship should be far more developed than it already is. It's no wonder he's pulling away. He's investing a lot in you emotionally and you aren't returning it. Yes, tell him you miss him and be honest about your feelings. I'm sure he'll love it.
farva2 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 If a guy puts the his guts on the line to tell you some sweet and sappy stuff and you don't reciprocate or you shrug it off with passive comments then he' going to get a little distant. Send him that text, he'll be all happy and if he really does like you and he'll take it from there.

Why are you so afraid of showing your interest? I'm terrified of getting rejected or looking stupid. I like him a lot and miss him like crazy. It's rare I get feelings for anyone.

Idk why I get so nervous but I do.

Author Beachlife88 Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 No risk no gain. Do not live in fear. Ill text him tomorrow. Should I just say I miss you. I don't think he would have said all those sweet things just to get sex bc they were said after and we hung plenty of times without sex happening

You don't have a defined relationship, so anything you say may be misunderstood. "I MISS YOU" between couples are only meaningful if there exists a relationship. Otherwise it would only mean, "I miss your cock", which is okay if you want to be a booty call to him.
soccerrprp Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Tell or text him "I miss you." It will be a surprise if he's still interested and not a moment/opp wasted if he isn't. See what happens after.
