Girl I'm dating at the moment is under a lot of stress at work and school.

 

Was thinking of getting her a random gift. This DVD I wanted to recommend to her and a box of chocs with a card telling her she needs to take a timeout and have some downtime once in a while.

 

Will she like this? Or will it come across like I'm trying too hard?

 

I should mention that Ive only been dating her for about a month or so.

 

Do you girls generally like random gifts early on in a relationship?

I like simple gifts in the beginning of a relationship. She's stressed about stuff?

 

Tell her, I'll give you 10 minutes to vent about everything, I'll just sit and listen. Whatever you want to vent about.

 

After that, light some candles, sit her down and give her a nice massage for a while. Gives you bonding time, it's free, and who would say no to a massage?
