dumped2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Went camping with a buddy. Big party in Suches, Ga. Good time. She had the movers come get her stuff Saturday while I was gone. I pulled back into my drive on Sunday and she is here getting more of her stuff out. Hard to do NC if she still shows up. I texted her last night and told her all of her stuff that is left she can get when I'm on vacation next month. She is going to watch my cat and stay here. I will try not to see her at that time and make sure she leaves before i get back. When i pulled in the drive on Sunday she was here with the dog. Tried to do NC and did not say anything to her but I got out of my truck and loved on the dog. Oh well.
Author dumped2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 And she wants to be buddies and have me over to her apartment for dinners. Weird ****. She is the one who left me and lied. I guess i should have copied my story before i posted this. Miller Lite talking now. Good night all.
lostinpgh Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Sorry. I don't understand why she would want to be friends, that's just cruel to you I think. Sorry I giggled a little at the "just the miller light talking" Been quite a while since I've giggled, so I must thank you for that. Hang in there, we are all in the same crappy boat paddling upstream together.
Author dumped2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 You can giggle if you want. We are put on this earth to serve and take card of people. I did that with her but I guess it wasn't enough.
LuvsTrucks2 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 My husband and I recently separated and this was his big thing, to be friends, come over and do stuff, huh? How can I be friends with someone that has torn my heart out and stomped all over it? Maybe somewhere in the distant future, but not now. I believe the friend zone thing is a way for them to feel less guilt.
K Os Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I believe the friend zone thing is a way for them to feel less guilt. Of course it is. They're taking away the marriage thing, the lifetime commitment thing, the sex thing and the love thing, but if they can preserve the friendship thing then they're not all bad. Are they? !"£$%^&*()!
littlejaz Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I agree, it is a defense mechanism to help them with the guilt they feel for what they have done.
