. . . it is intricate in imagery the phrase turning is spectacular and its a journey poem....true capacity for you to be in the images...to feel the colors.....it has many colors in there...bright and beautiful.....humor thrown in as a back drop..........gorgeous poem......deb
I'm glad there are people like you who can point out things like that, and help me organize my thoughts about something I admire, and feel, but don't fully comprehend. They say you can even learn Calculus from a book, but a good instructor makes it a LOT easier!

I am not attracted to him plus he lives in a difficult place to get to which is already snowed in. It's quite different to drive half an hour to the airport, get on a plane for 10 hours, get off at Heathrow and be at a guy's house half an hour later in London. Visiting this guy would require connecting flights, waiting times in between, then long train or bus rides.

I might have him as a penpal but I wouldn't want to get his hopes up nor to expect constant emails from me. I dated a man who has since become a friend and penpal, who didn't want another long distance relationship. Coincidentally, he had just broken off a two year relationship with a woman in Scotland partly because of the commute. And he lived in England!

Transcendentalism is very interesting...which is what I thought when I read it...Emerson/Thoreau.

But did Thoreau have ferrets in his fax machine? :bunny:

i am glad you like the way i feel about the poem but in all honesty i dont know a lot about poetry ...i only write what i know which to me is a bit child like......one poster said trascendentalism.....

i just felt the poem as a journey poem...not knowing the word right away or even having anything but feelings i felt...... actually transcending is to go above and beyond(had to dictionary.com to get true meaning)...which to me means to journey..philosposphical introspection is also a journey of the mind but yeah...for me...smilin atcha...journey says it..........like a five year old but thats me......i think thats why my ex liked my poetry ...pretty simple stuff....men should write more poetry ......soem of the best and divine poets are actaully shock horror men......who would have thunk it....;0)..deb
