Miche789504 Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 There's something about men I just don't understand.....maybe someone can clarify for me?? You say take my number so we can hang out sometime....and when we do call to make plans...why do you never call back or make the plans and not show up??? Is it a game...that us ladies need to figure out? Im confused. I thought I met a really cool guy until he started doing this to me...he would see me and say "what are you doing later?" we would make plans to get together, and he would either never call or just not show up! Thats so rude! Also when I start to act like im not interested in him anymore, thats when he's more receptive! I just don't get it! Maybe someone can teach me how to play the game!!
EC Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 If you have to play a game with them then you shouldn't be wasting you time. Games are for middle schoolers. If you do want to play the game though.....I would give him a dose of his own medicine and set up a date then never show up and never call him. Let him know what it feels like.

Merin Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 My Motto.. IF you don't have time to call me, then you don't have time to date me. NEEEXXXTTTT!

Find a real man that sticks to his word. There are a few left out there.
SoleMate Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 If he stands you up, he better show up with a SERIOUS apology, a SERIOUS explanation (like hit by a bus), and some serious grovelling. Otherwise, forget it. People who stand me up without a care, be they male or female, do not ever get the opportunity to enjoy my company. If you even talk to him again, if you don't hear a lengthy, sincere apology and plan to make it up to you in the first 10 seconds, put the phone back on the hook and don't take his calls ever again. Unless you like this kind of thing.
Author Miche789504 Posted December 2, 2004 Author Posted December 2, 2004 True...True...True Merin I just want this guy to be as frustrated as I was
Honesty Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 like another poster put, this games are for kids, but in case you are here it goes- the trick is to always act like you are not interested and they will be on you like ketchup on fries oh! just don't make him feel too bad or hewill just give up.

Merin Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Originally posted by Miche789504 True...True...True Merin I just want this guy to be as frustrated as I was I can understand where you're coming from.. I'm telling you from my experience.. IF a guy is all about asking you out every time you see him, then flakes out.. he just isn't worth getting yourself upset over.. NEXT TIME (If there is a next time) you see him and he asks you what you're doing later.. DON'T make any plans to spend time with him. Tell him you've got plans (even if you don't) then smile.. and get out of there. Don't make yourself available to him.. He will eventually get the message that IF he wants to be an "assclown" damn I love that word! Then he is going to have to do so on his own time.. and he'll get the message that there are plenty of other guys out there who DO have the time to take you out and are more than happy to do so.

tanbark813 Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Women do this too. I once got stood up by a girl on Valentine's Day. This behavior is not gender-specific. It's a**h***-specific.

Merin Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 ASSCLOWNS & ASSCLOWNETTE'S DON'T LET THEM HAPPEN TO YOU!
Huntr777 Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Simply put, this guy is nothing more than a jerk. He makes plans with you and then stands you up. THAT'S NOT A GAME, IT'S BEING DOWNRIGHT RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO YOU. And you should not put up with it. In my mind he makes plans, and then he knows you're interested...it's an ego high for him. Then when you act like you're not interested, well that's a blow to his ego. So then he turns on the sweet talk again. And if you fall for it, then he'll do the same thing again. Bet me on that one. You deserve better. Hunter
Author Miche789504 Posted December 3, 2004 Author Posted December 3, 2004 That's sweet thank you Huntr! Next time I talk to this guy i'm gonna tell him he's a freakin ASSCLOWN!

To the original poster: Don't put up with this assclown playing games. Find a real man that sticks to his word. There are a few left out there. What you mean it is off topic? I was trying to point out to original poster that GAMES are played everyday by everybody and there is nothing wrong with it. If you're going to be successful in dating and life in general you need to play the games. It's part of life.
tiki Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 The original poster asked this: Originally posted by Miche789504There's something about men I just don't understand.....maybe someone can clarify for me?? I don't think they are in middle school any more. As a matter of fact one is a Senator and one is leader of the free world. So how exactly does this answer the posters question? You're not responding to the original question, you're going off on other poster's opinions instead. Geez. LOL...and we wonder why men play games?
alphamale Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Originally posted by tiki Errr....you mean a$$clown specific?! SO the above post by YOU on this thread helped the poster and follows the guidelines of staying on topic??
tiki Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Yes, smarty pants. I was referncing back to this post WHERE *I* ACTUALLY REPLIED TO THE POSTER. Originally posted by tiki Your post is off topic, dude. Read the forum rules. To the original poster: Don't put up with this assclown playing games. Find a real man that sticks to his word. There are a few left out there. Why is this so hard to understand alphamale? Reply to the questions of the original poster and quit slamming everyone else. Get it? It's not that complex. ~Now please, don't rob her thread! It's not fait to the original poster. If you've got more issues, use the PM button.
